At wilderness yoga we offer a variety of classes for all bodies, whether you are taking the first steps and beginning a yoga practice or a more long time practitioner looking to deepen and journey further under the guidance of experienced teachers, there is a class suitable for all, if you are not sure what class is suitable for you, get in contact and we will support and guide you in the right direction.

General Yoga Class at Wilderness Yoga Coffs Harbour / Korora

General / Open Yoga

This class is suitable for all levels. You do not need to have any particular yoga experience. Options are given where appropriate. A strong foundation and breathing in coordination with movement is emphasized to develop flow. There is repetition in the class to encourage a home practice.

Mysore Yoga Class at Wilderness Yoga Coffs Harbour / Korora

Mysore Ashtanga

Mysore Ashtanga is the traditional method of teaching Ashtanga vinyasa. Students practice together in the same room, at their own pace, with one-on-one guidance from the teacher as needed. Learning the Ashtanga primary series students develop a connection to breath, body and movement along other aspects of the yoga practice. All of this is learned gradually, in a step-by-step process accessible to anyone. This method allows each student time to practice and memorise what they have learned before adding more. Students are able to practice independently and at their own pace while surrounded by the energy and inspiration of other students in the room.

Pregnancy Yoga

Pregnancy yoga provide a safe place for women at this specific time to move breath and be present. Importantly maintaining strength and condition during pregnancy and attaining mental and physical strength required for labour birth and parenting. A great opportunity to engage with other women in a positive empowering setting.

All our teachers at Wilderness offer private one on one yoga classes ( can be for the individual or small group) these classes and time spent directly with a teacher can be completely catered to the individual, weather recovering or working with injury, starting a practice, understanding alignment of asana or wanting to explore more restorative options and how to add these elements into a busy daily lives.
